Yes! We require all guests to have travel insurance. This will cover you from the likes of cancellation (non-refundable deposit loss), flight changes, personal injury and medical expenses. We advise you to get travel insurance that covers personal liability and loss of personal property.

It’s also super important to check that your insurance covers all of the activities you’ll be partaking in, such as surfing, hiking and free diving.

Each bungalow is fitted with Australian dual power points.

Certain spots on the island get cellular signal from time to time and it can vary between the network providers. You should always plan for no signal.

However we do have unlimited satellite internet around the bungalows.

To reach Vanuatu, you can fly from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, or New Caledonia to Port Vila, the country’s capital (Bauerfield International Airport).

From there, you connect to a domestic flight to Luganville, Santo (Pekoa Airport) before taking another brief domestic flight to Sola Airport (departing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).

There are now also direct flights with Air Vanuatu from Brisbane Australia to Luganville, Santo, for those wishing to skip a visit to Port Vila!

Upon arrival at Sola, Kwakea staff will be waiting to escort you on a short boat ride to Kwakea Island.
